Mint Hot Cocoa Recipe Ingredients
-2 tablespoons cocoa powder
-2 cups whole milk
-1 cup semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
-3 tablespoons granulated sugar
-Marshmallows
-Fatty Sundays Peppermint Pretzel Rods
Mint Hot Cocoa Recipe Directions
-Bring milk to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat.
-Whisk in cocoa powder until no lumps remain and return to a simmer.
-Whisk in chocolate and sugar until mixture is smooth and creamy and chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes.
-Pour hot chocolate into 2 mugs. Top with marshmallows and stir with Fatty Sundays Peppermint Pretzel Rods.
Stirring the cocoa with Peppermint Pretzel Rods will give it a delicious minty taste. You can even add 2-3 drops of peppermint extract or peppermint oil (while the mixture is still simmering on the stove) if you want a mintier flavor. Yum!
