We’ve been loving easy, no bake recipes these days. You don’t have to wait for the oven, and there’s usually less clean up involved! Today we’re featuring a recipe that, on top of this, is also gluten free and dairy free. Peanut butter balls coated in melted dark chocolate and our Gluten Free Dark Chocolate Sprinkles Pretzels...mmmm. They’re pretty much homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, topped with our pretzels.

Peanut butter and chocolate is always an amazing, favorite dessert combo, and these peanut butter balls are certainly a crowd pleaser. If you, a family member or friend has gluten free and/or dairy free dietary restrictions, you’ll definitely want to make these. They’re become a most requested treat!

Recipe adapted from Tasty

Peanut Butter Balls Recipe Ingredients

for 12 balls
-1 cup natural peanut butter, no-stir
-1 cup almond flour
-⅓ cup honey
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-¾ cup dark chocolate chips
-Fatty Sundays Gluten Free Dark Chocolate Sprinkles Pretzels, chopped finely

Peanut Butter Balls Recipe Directions

Make sure to use a no-stir, all-natural peanut butter. Using a natural peanut butter that separates may cause the ball mixture to be too loose.

-In a medium bowl, add together the peanut butter, almond flour, honey and vanilla extract.
-Mix with a spatula until the mixture thickens and sticks together.
-Roll the mixture into balls half an inch in diameter.
-Place the balls on a parchment lined baking sheet and chill them in the freezer for a few minutes.
-Chop up the Fatty Sundays Gluten Free Sprinkles Pretzels finely with a knife and place in a bowl.
-In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave no more than 15 seconds at a time. Or, you can use a double boiler to melt the chocolate.
-Take the balls out of the freezer. Using a fork, dip a peanut butter ball in the melted chocolate and toss to fully coat, tapping off the excess chocolate. Then dip the ball in the chopped pretzel pieces and toss to fully coat. Place back on the baking sheet. Repeat with remaining balls.
-Refrigerate at least one hour before enjoying!

The pretzel pieces give these rich peanut butter balls a crunchy texture that you’ll love, similar to a Ferrero Rocher! Plus, it’s like double chocolate with the chocolate covered pretzels on top of the melted chocolate. Who’d ever complain about more chocolate?!

You can even store these in the freezer for up to a month, so why not double up on the recipe? These pretty treats will look great on your cookie platter any time of year, and they’ll probably be the first thing to go!

Before you begin, make sure to grab your Gluten Free Sprinkles pretzels on our site. They come in sharable, resealable bags that you can store easily in your pantry. Enjoy the leftover pretzels on their own, with coffee or with ice cream for a sweet little snack!
